The Veil InsideA Different Eye
02 Jun 2015
Walking through the alleyways
My skin falls off as some see me and others see me as a shadow unnoticed
I am different
It wasn't my choice, my slate wasn't blank
I am here and now trying to be
While others in their bands of mindlessness
For them to judge me is a falsely
I can see their lives in a picture frame bringing nothing to the plate
Only their ignorance like the dirt under their cleats
I am more than that
I am real, not a push over
A man with a pen seeing the world change around him
I walk the sidewalks to see the change and it seems wonderful like a lazy summer day.
