The trees fight against the light
Mangled with fear like all of us
They want to sit in the fear
For they are unafraid like so many hearts
For my heart dwells here
I am not a pessimist
I can see death
All I can hope for is to become the moose in my dreams
Oh God, I stare in the dark sky asking for forgiveness
I am a man with nothing
My words are like finger nails
Digging into the wall for my soul is me.
