Memories flood the mind while tears build
Holding them but allowing them to remind me that I feel alive
Wars whirlwind of pain swindles us even when we don't know it
Life is serene even when we think we know
No parent could ever prepare a clean slate to perform as the seasons
Only hope is the key to a destiny on the horizon far from paths laden with silk
Even when the heart speaks loudly howling in the wind
Do I wish to see the sun fall behind nature slowly wondering with hand cuffs towards the skies asking the universe in a whisper, "Why?"
With no answer do I fall down and collect my being to continue through this universe with expectation lost in a strangers eye.
