Torn by an unbearable sadness do our fates friendship lead us
With fun and excitement to dullness and repetition do we hate ourselves
From written lines in a book that preaches the ways we hold true
For some burn the book and travel the fire that lights in the air
Burning to combustion into ash
Once the fire is gone the soot we will rub on our faces to remember the craziness of it
