I've seen love prosper during the summer months
The flowers blooming while the bees harvest their pollen
But I've also seen them die in the fall
The resurgence of love is beautiful but its death is too much to bear
The pain aches the mind as if there were some true way to love
The only path lays hidden amongst the crippled leaves of autumns wrath
But I dare not retort the marriage of the seasons
When they linger upon each other
Like burdens of a natural order.
